The Conspiracy of Silence: The Dark Truth of Jihadi Terrorism, Global Complicity, and the Absence of Criticism

Introduction: Why This Article Is Necessary

This article is not a report on a single terrorist attack. It is an analysis of a systematic mechanism through which jihadi terrorism is not only promoted but its criticism is suppressed. This mechanism rests on three pillars: the confusion of definition, selective morality, and collective silence.

I am a senior researcher at Rotary Club Muzaffarnagar. Rotary Club’s methodology is clear: it does not classify terrorism based on ideology. It collects data based on tactics. This article is based on that same data, but its conclusion goes further: when the ideological basis of violence is clear, concealing it is a political act, not a research methodology.

According to the 2026 Global Terrorism Index (GTI), global terrorism deaths fell by 28% to 5,582 in 2025. But behind this decline lies a deeper truth: the Islamic State (ISIS) and its affiliates remain the world’s deadliest terrorist organizations, responsible for 70% of all global terrorism deaths in 2025.

ISIS’s activities have spread to 22 countries, with its center of gravity now shifted to sub-Saharan Africa. The Sahel region remains the global epicenter of terrorism for the third consecutive year, accounting for more than half of all terrorism deaths worldwide. Pakistan became the most affected country in the world for the first time, with 1,045 terrorist attacks and 1,139 deaths in 2025.

Chapter One: 9/11 – A Real Jihadi Attack and Its Denial

1.1 Facts No One Can Deny

On 11 September 2001, 19 Al-Qaeda hijackers hijacked four aircraft. The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York, the Pentagon, and a field in Pennsylvania were struck. 2,977 people were killed — including citizens of more than 90 countries.

Of the 19 hijackers, 15 were Saudi nationals, one was Egyptian, one Lebanese, and two from the United Arab Emirates. This was no "Israeli conspiracy" — it was a meticulously planned jihadi attack aimed at bringing America "to its knees." Osama bin Laden’s 1998 fatwa explicitly stated: "There is no more important duty after faith than to expel the American occupiers from the holy land of Islam."

1.2 The Israel Conspiracy Theory: A Proven Fabrication

Around the 25th anniversary of 9/11, research institutions recorded 174 high-reach social media posts with at least 56.5 million views. The central narrative: Israel/Jews were the "hidden architects" of 9/11, with World Trade Center leaseholder Larry Silverstein cast as the central figure.

This theory is entirely false. Five Israelis detained in New Jersey after 9/11 were investigated, found to have no connection to the plot, and were deported for immigration violations. Al-Qaeda explicitly claimed responsibility. An X account @Jvnior posted on 9 September 2026: "Everyone knows Israel did 9/11" — that post received 1.2 million views and 66,000 likes.

1.3 "America Created Al-Qaeda": Half-Truth, Half-Lie

In the 1980s, the US funded Afghan mujahideen through Pakistan’s ISI. In 1985, Reagan signed NSDD-166. Saudi Arabia funded equally. But Al-Qaeda was founded in 1988, before the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan. America helped the mujahideen; the mujahideen gave birth to Al-Qaeda — but "America created Al-Qaeda" is a deliberately spread disinformation, clearly flagged by EUvsDisinfo.

1.4 Muslim World’s Response After 9/11: Fatwas, But No Action

The entire Muslim world takes to the streets when a Quran is burned. But after 9/11, apart from a few fatwas, no large-scale protests occurred in any Muslim country.

Qatari scholar Yusuf al-Qaradawi had given religious legitimacy to Hamas’s suicide bombings in 1995, but after 9/11 he condemned them. Yet in mid-October 2001, he joined four other scholars in authorizing American Muslim soldiers to participate in the attack on Afghanistan — and this fatwa did not appear on his official website, while all his other fatwas are public. Condemnation exists, but it is temporary. Fatwas exist, but they are not "displayed."

Chapter Two: ISIS – Systematic Brutality Under a Religious Veil

2.1 Recruitment: Foreign Fighters from Muslim Countries

In the 2014–2015 official count, 9 of the top 10 source countries were Muslim-majority: Tunisia (6,000), Saudi Arabia (2,500), Turkey (2,100), Jordan (2,000+). In 2016–2017 data, Russia (3,417), Saudi Arabia (3,244), Jordan (3,000), Tunisia (2,926) topped the list. An estimated 20,000 foreign fighters from over 80 countries went to Syria and Iraq. 25% of ISIS fighters were from Saudi Arabia.

2.2 Sexual Slavery: "The Revival of Slavery"

In October 2014, ISIS’s English magazine Dabiq published an article titled "The Revival of Slavery Before the Hour," publicly acknowledging that Yazidi women and girls were used as slaves. The article emphasized the revival of the "glorious tradition" of the Abbasid Caliphate and justified enslavement by declaring Yazidis "pagans."

Price List: ISIS published a "Price Scheme" in which children aged 1–9 were priced at around $165 (approx. ₹14,000)**, **girls aged 10–20 at $130, and women aged 40–50 dropped to $43**. In ISIS’s Telegram group **"Caliphate Soldiers’ Market,"** **the youngest girls fetched up to $14,000, and ISIS considered girls sexually mature at age 9. Prices ranged from $200 to $1,500 based on marital status, age, number of children, and "perceived beauty."

Judicial Success: In March 2026, the Paris Criminal Court sentenced French ISIS member Sabri Essid to life imprisonment for genocide and crimes against humanity. A Yazidi victim testified that an ISIS member had bought her for a car and a gun, then sold her to Essid, who made her his sex slave and raped her daily, often in front of her two-year-old daughter. The torture lasted over two years. Another Yazidi woman testified she was sold to six different men and tried to save her 7-year-old daughter from rape by cutting her hair, putting her in diapers, and making her feign insanity. When an ISIS member tried to rape her daughter, the mother attempted to kill her daughter and then herself.

Chapter Three: 7 October 2023 – The Black Day Proven by Evidence

3.1 Massacre Figures

Human Rights Watch (HRW), based on interviews with 144 survivors and witnesses and analysis of over 280 photos and videos, found that 1,195 people were killed, including 815 civilians. Among them were 36 children, 282 women, and 79 foreign nationals. At least 364 civilians were killed at the Supernova Music Festival alone. Hostages: At least 251 people were taken hostage, including 39 children.

3.2 Sexual Violence: Systematic and "Maximizing Pain"

In May 2026, an independent Israeli body, the Civil Commission, released a 300-page report titled "Silenced No More." It is based on over 400 testimonies and approximately 2,000 hours of visual analysis.

Key Finding: "Sexual violence was systematic, widespread, and an integral part of the October 7 attacks and their aftermath." The report documents 13 types of violence, including gang rape, sexual torture, forced nudity, mutilation, and body burning. According to the report, three separate rapes occurred at the Nova Music Festival, where "the girl was being passed from one to another." Two minor hostages were forced by their captors to perform sexual acts on each other.

3.3 Hostage Women: The Lie of "Love," the Truth of Sexual Violence

Romi Gonen, abducted from the Nova Music Festival on 7 October 2023 at age 23, was released after 471 days in captivity. She publicly stated: "I was crying like crazy. And he was having the best time of his life, completely happy, as if he had been given the gift of life. " One captor threatened her: "If you tell anyone, I will kill you." She said she could have become "his sex slave for life."

"Ilana Gritzewsky, a hostage for 55 days, testified before the UN Human Rights Council: "I am a living woman. I am living proof of Hamas’s sexual violence. When I and other Israeli women were pleading not to be raped, why were you silent?" A Hamas terrorist hugged her, kissed her, called her beautiful, and said: "You will marry me, you will bear my children.""

3.4 The Bibas Children: Killed with Bare Hands

In February 2025, an IDF spokesperson confirmed: Kfir Bibas (10 months) and Ariel Bibas (4 years) were both "brutally murdered" while in captivity in November 2023. Forensic examination and intelligence revealed they were "killed with bare hands" — not shot, but strangled. Hamas had claimed they were killed in Israeli airstrikes, but forensic evidence proved this false. Hamas claimed to return the body of their mother Shiri Bibas, but examination found the body was not Shiri’s but that of an unknown woman.

3.5 Participation of Gaza Civilians: The Lie of "Uninvolved Civilians"

HRW made clear that Hamas’s claim that "uninvolved civilians committed the worst atrocities" is contradicted by evidence. Gaza civilians themselves entered Israel and actively participated in looting, abduction, and even killings. After the attack, sweets were distributed in many parts of Gaza, flags were waved, and Hamas was praised. Hostages were held in ordinary civilians’ homes, and in many cases civilians helped hide them.

3.6 "The Attack Was Correct": Poll Data

According to the October 2025 poll by PCPSR (Khalil Shikaki): 53% of Palestinians believe the October 7 attack was the "correct decision." In the West Bank, 59% and in Gaza, 44% consider it correct. 86% of Palestinians believe Hamas committed no atrocities against Israeli civilians. That is, denial of atrocities is widespread. However, by 2026, Hamas’s support has dropped — only 19% of Palestinians support Hamas (27% in Gaza, 13% in the West Bank).

Chapter Four: Grooming Gangs – Britain’s Hidden Truth

4.1 250,000 Victims

In June 2026, "The Rape Gang Inquiry Report" was released under the leadership of British MP Rupert Lowe. According to the report, at least 250,000 young British girls have been sexually exploited since the 1950s. 87% of convicted perpetrators were Muslim, while Muslims make up only 6% of the UK population. Imam Taj Hargey of the Oxford Islamic Congregation estimates that the true proportion of Muslims among gang members is around 95%. Between 2005 and 2017, of 264 convictions for group-based child sexual exploitation, 84% of perpetrators were of South Asian origin, mostly Pakistani Muslim.

4.2 The Cover-Up Mechanism

In Rotherham, over 1,400 victims were identified between 1997 and 2013. A 2014 inquiry found that police had ignored evidence for years out of fear of "community tensions" and "racism accusations." Those who spoke out were silenced with the label "racist." London Mayor Sadiq Khan claimed for years that such gangs "do not exist" in London. But the Metropolitan Police is now reviewing 9,000 child sexual exploitation cases. The report was not accepted by Labour, Conservative, or Reform UK, and faced a "near-total media blackout."

Chapter Five: Love Jihad and Forced Conversion – India and Pakistan

5.1 Love Jihad in India: 283 Cases, 7 Convictions

In Madhya Pradesh, 283 love jihad cases were registered between 2020 and 2025, of which only 7 resulted in conviction. 197 cases are still pending in court, and 50 ended in acquittal. Over 90% of cases end with the accused going free. In 2025, love jihad cases tripled — from 40–65 per year until 2024, to 175 in 2025. Yet the conviction rate remains extremely low.

5.2 Forced Conversion in Pakistan: 75% Hindu Girls

According to UN experts, 75% of victims of forced conversion in 2025 were Hindu and 25% Christian. About 80% of cases occurred in Sindh province. Girls aged 14–18 are the primary targets.

UN experts stated: "Law enforcement agencies often dismiss victims’ families’ complaints, fail to investigate forced conversions in a timely manner, or fail to properly assess victims’ ages." Sources linked to the Pir Sarhandi shrine claim that around 1,000 Hindu girls have been converted within its premises.

5.3 Lahore Gang Rape: The Azerbaijani Woman Case

In September 2026, a 20-year-old Azerbaijani woman was taken to dinner in Lahore’s Defence Area, where three men gang-raped her, held her until 2 p.m. the next day, and then dropped her near the airport. The medical report confirmed sexual assault and found injuries on her body.

5.4 Sexual Violence Against Kashmiri Pandit Women: 1989–1991

In 1989–1990, the "ethnic cleansing" of Kashmir by Islamic jihadists began. Thousands were killed, women were raped, properties and temples were burned, and "hit lists" threatening to annihilate the Pandit minority community were published in newspapers. Many women were gang-raped and then killed. One woman was sawed in half. A Kashmiri Pandit nurse working at Srinagar’s Soura Medical College Hospital was gang-raped and beaten to death.

Chapter Six: Bangladesh – Systematic Sexual Violence Against Minorities

6.1 Annada Prasad Village: Gang Rape of Over 200 Women

On 2–3 October 2001, armed attackers struck Annada Prasad village in Lalmohan upazila of Bhola district, Bangladesh. Over 200 Hindu women were gang-raped and hundreds of families were displaced. Attackers looted, burned, and killed.

Victim Testimonies:

Kanchan Mala Das (35): When attackers tried to use her home to rape two neighboring Hindu girls, she threatened suicide with a bottle of poison.

Shankar Chandra Das: Attackers tied him up and beat him while gang-raping his three sisters in front of him.

Shefali Rani: She was raped and had to have a leg amputated. She said, "Oh God! Will these criminals never be punished?"

Pushpa Rani Das and Bakuli Das: Both were gang-raped in a field on the night of 2 October.

The Justice Sahabuddin Commission report (2001–2002) recorded 5,571 formal complaints. In 2011, a court sentenced 11 people to life imprisonment in a gang rape case linked to the 2001 riots.

6.2 Communal Violence in Bangladesh 2024–2025

The Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council (BHBCOP) recorded 2,442 communal violence incidents between August 2024 and June 2025. These included 61 murders, 28 rapes and gang rapes, 95 attacks on religious sites, and 102 homes burned. In the first quarter of 2025, 342 rape cases were recorded, with 87% of victims under 18. Government stance: The Yunus government claimed only 71 were "communal," while 574 were "criminal." That is, the state systematically dismisses religious persecution as "ordinary crime."

Chapter Seven: Heroes and Martyrs – The Glorification of Terrorists

7.1 Osama bin Laden: 100 Million Supporters

According to Pew Research Center surveys in 2003:

71% in the Palestinian territories expressed confidence in bin Laden to "do the right thing in world affairs."

58% in Indonesia, 55% in Jordan, 49% in Morocco, and 45% in Pakistan.

59% of Indonesians, 46% of Pakistanis, and 56% of Jordanians expressed confidence in bin Laden.

At the time of his death in 2011, over 100 million people worldwide had expressed "confidence" in him. However, by 2009, support had dropped to 25% in Indonesia, 18% in Pakistan, and 28% in Jordan. Yet in the 2011 Pew survey, 34% in the Palestinian territories still expressed confidence in him.

7.2 Qasem Soleimani: "Martyr" and "Hero"

Iranian General Qasem Soleimani, killed in a US drone strike in January 2020, was declared a "martyr" and "hero" across the Muslim world. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei said "Soleimani was the most national and champion figure of Iran and the Islamic world." The Iranian Embassy in Pakistan stated Soleimani was "highly praised by the people of the region as a 'liberator, hero, and symbol of the fight against terrorism.'"

Chapter Eight: Nigeria – The Unseen Christian Victims

According to US Congressional Resolution (H. RES. 866, November 2025):

50,000 to 100,000 Christians killed for their faith since 2009

Over 7,000 Christians killed in 2025 alone — an average of 35 per day

Over 19,000 churches attacked or destroyed

In Benue and Plateau states alone, 9,500 people (mostly Christians) were killed between May 2023 and May 2025, and over 500,000 displaced

Perpetrators: Boko Haram, Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), and Fulani militants. Proportionally, Christians are at least 5 times more likely to be killed than Muslims. Nigerian President Tinubu stated in September 2025 that "there is no religious persecution in Nigeria."

Chapter Nine: Selective Morality and Double Standards

9.1 "Sar Tan Se Juda" – An Open Call for Murder, Not Free Speech

The slogan was born in Pakistan in 2011 — when Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) spread it in defense of Mumtaz Qadri, who assassinated Punjab Governor Salman Taseer. In Pakistan, from 1948 to 2021, 89 people were killed on blasphemy charges — and 95% of these killings were carried out by mobs. The Allahabad High Court stated in 2025–2026: "The slogan 'Sar Tan Se Juda' is a threat to India’s unity and integrity."

9.2 Netanyahu’s UN Boycott

In September 2026, representatives of 77 countries boycotted Netanyahu’s speech. These included Iran, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, and others. The very countries that champion "free speech" were unwilling to listen to Israel.

9.3 Mayor Mamdani and Swara Bhaskar

New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani issued a statement on the third anniversary of 7 October 2026, the bulk of which focused on Israel — with accusations of "genocide," "apartheid," and "war crimes." He was hesitant to condemn Hamas. Swara Bhaskar said: "This is a deeply despicable act of terrorism. I will say it again and again: Israel is the terrorist." But regarding Hamas’s October 7 attack, her stance was "somewhat hypocritical."

Chapter Ten: Conclusion – The Cost of Silence

10.1 The Mechanism of the "Conspiracy of Silence"

All the facts presented in this article point to a single mechanism:

1. Confusion of definition: The Taliban’s claim that "there is no universal definition of terrorism" — this is not ignorance, but a deliberate strategy of ambiguity.

2. Selective morality: When victims are Christian, Hindu, or Jewish, the voice of "human rights" disappears. When victims are Muslim, emergency UN sessions are convened.

3. Collective silence: Fatwas exist, but they are not displayed. Statements exist, but they are temporary. Condemnation exists, but without action.

10.2 The Double Character of "Free Speech"

Those who advocate "free speech" are the same ones who chant "Sar Tan Se Juda." Those who call criticism of Israel "courage" call criticism of Hamas "hypocrisy."

10.3 Final Word

2,977 dead on 9/11, 1,195 dead on October 7, 250,000 grooming gang victims, 6,000 Yazidi slaves, 2,000 missing Yazidis, 7,000 Nigerian Christians, 66 Bangladeshi Hindus, 89 blasphemy killings, 2,442 communal attacks, 283 love jihad cases — all are the result of a single ideology. Naming this ideology is not "Islamophobia." It is the truth. And speaking the truth is not against any religion. It is also necessary for the millions of Muslims who are killed in the name of this ideology, but whose voices are suppressed.
